Kids-Castle
Dismountable and transportable Paravent-System.
Actually it`s not a real castle, but a dismountable and transportable paravent-system. Designed and constructed for the Heeresgeschichtliches Museum Wien. The convertible plates form a “kids-castle”, a separated room for (birthday) parties. Convertible means, there are two different outsides and insides, on wich “Eugen”, the museums mascot of the kids program is shown in different actions and times. The castle is made out of printed and milled alucubond-plates with laser-cut fittings and welded powder-coated steel stands. Clamping section. w x d x h in mm: 3000 x 4500 x 1800
The curatorial concept was made by Georg Rütgen and Hannes Gintenreiter for HGM. Great respect to Barbara Köhler (AST&NEBEL, Vienna) who did the awesome illustrations!
