Taurob Tracker 2.0 -Robot for the detection of danger areas and scientific investigation of inaccessible spaces.
Redesign of the worldwide unique search and rescue robot for fire brigades. Developed, constructed and programmed by Taurob GmbH, 1230 Vienna. The collaboration of Taurob and dform is government-funded by departure, das Kreativzentrum der Wirtschaftsagentur Wien.
Body constructed of carbon fibre and aluminium. Front aperture for removal and change of the accumulators. Upper openings with aluminum cover plate for service and assembling. Clamping sections at the arm joints for save operation in the pivoting range of the arm.
Color-marked carrying points. All relevant parts are tipped with reflective foil for save handling of the arm, flipper and tracked vehicle in darkness or smoke.
